Nicole Morton wishes people could see insurance through her eyes; “The industry can have a bad reputation, but at its core, I know when something unexpected happens, we help people”.

Nicole’s connection to the personal side of the insurance business has kept her in it for 20 years. In 1995 she joined London Life (now Freedom 55 Financial), where she specialized in individual insurance. Her focus shifted to group insurance in 1997 with Great-West Life, and then joined Special Markets Solutions in 2002.

Why Special Markets Solutions? “We always remember that our clients are real people and we keep their best interests in mind. We legitimately look for ways to pay a claim, asking ourselves ‘How can we say yes?’ not ‘How can we say no?’”

On top of her busy schedule, Nicole is proud to be involved with Benefits of Caring, an Insurance industry fundraiser benefitting Ovarian Cancer Canada.
